By downloading, installing, or using the Nave mobile application ("App," "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nave. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Nave is a mobile application that helps Catholics discover and connect with:
The App includes an AI-powered assistant called "Gabriel" that helps users find relevant Catholic resources through natural language queries.
To access certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activities that occur under your account, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
Each person may only maintain one account. Multiple accounts may be terminated without notice.
Nave offers premium subscription plans ("Nave Pro") with enhanced features for different organization types:
New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel.
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their App Store refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
We may change subscription prices at any time. For existing subscribers, price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following reasonable notice.
You retain ownership of content you submit to Nave, including parish information, business listings, reviews, and other materials ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant Nave a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit the content, the content is accurate and not misleading, the content does not violate any laws or third-party rights, and the content does not contain viruses or harmful code.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without notice.

Gabriel is an AI-powered assistant designed to help you discover Catholic resources. You understand and agree that:
Gabriel has daily usage limits. We may modify or discontinue Gabriel at any time. Gabriel may not be available in all regions.
NAVE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF GABRIEL'S RESPONSES. USE OF GABRIEL IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Nave and its licensors own all rights to the App and its design, the Nave name, logo, and branding, all software, code, and technology, and compiled databases and collections.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. The App integrates with third-party services (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, payment processors). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO NAVE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nave, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your User Content.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at oliver@catholicnave.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Jurisdiction: Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS PART OF ANY CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Nave regarding the App. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
